#166054 - Printer settings Responding to: Giang Ho's previous message |
Have you tried the self-test function of the printer to at least ensure the printer can print on its own and verified that the serial settings in Hyperterm match the settings printed out?
The User manual states that when the printer is powered up without the special serial cable it will default to Irda, so make sure the serial cable is properly seated in the printer before turning it on. Does your PC have an actual serial port or are you using a USB to Serial adapter? Many of the adapters are very problematic with anything more than simple RS232 comms, especially if you are using Vista. Hal |
