yes... gps transmits the data using TTL and RS 232 levels.....
and as far as i have studied serial communication also uses both... TTL and RS 232.... but if it doesnt do such thing.... than please tell me what should i do to rectify this problem.... well i dont want to destroy anything..... but why would i connect this to my PC apart from testing.... because 8051 microcontroller will be connected to the MAX 232 and that will be connected to the GPS via serial cable... so where does the pc lies between the discussion apart from burning and coding the microcontroller,,,, please tell me am i on the right track???? |
