Richard King's site - 8752. 21 May 2000
My first original-thought 8752 program!
(push a button, & the corresponding LED turns on)
After several frustrating attempts to get an 8752 to run on an Atmel AVR starter-kit board, I finally succeeded today.
All credit to 8052.com's message board for the necessary inspiration.

Program working on the Atmel STK-200
The main difference between the Atmel AT90S8515 & a Philips 8752 is the Reset input : low-active for Atmel, hi-active for Philips

|
To get around this, remove the 10K pull-up near the PB1 led plus the 1M next to it.
Fit a 10uF cap in place of the 10K.
|
|
On the solder side, add a 10K pull-down from the 8752 pin 9 (reset) to 0V,
& add a link the 8752 pin 31 (EA/) to 0V (conveniently, pin 10 on the adjacent DIP-40).
